Forest School

Whittling, making sparks, cooking with mud and sand, autumn leaf adventures, fairy gardens, see-saws, stick insects, exploring, running, jumping, climbing, building, nature art, using new tools ... accompanied by teamwork, co-operation, fine motor and gross motor development, scientific understandings, nature connection. That's a snapshot of Forest School over the past week!                        

We are all enjoying whittling and need more green wood! Please contact me by email if you are able to provide wood for whittling: Sarah.Kline@education.vic.gov.au.

I would also love to collect a few more second-hand baking tins, cupcake tins, saucepans, jugs and wooden spoons (only metal and wooden items please). Donations of these can be dropped at the office.
