From the Assistant Principal 

Thank you

It was during last year I think, that I reflected on the metaphor of all of us as boats bobbing away in the water during the Covid storm. Some have been in strong, resilient, supported motorised boats that just sometimes took on a bit of water, and others have felt like they are still looking for a paddle for their cobbled together life raft or an inflatable ring was all to be found. Whichever is your boat, I know that the last 2 years have been exceptionally challenging, for many reasons we can see and some that we don't know about. Thank you for floating alongside of the school: supporting, encouraging, challenging and assisting us to look forward to the rainbows to come. Each and every member of our community plays an incredibly important role in making Kalinda the amazing place that it is and we look forward to the excitement and joy of 2022 together.

Tuesday was an exciting day, meeting new classmates and teachers and finding out about the exciting journey ahead in a new year level. Alongside that excitement often comes nervous energy, anxiety, and even worry for our children.
