First Eucharist

I wrote in the last newsletter, that it was a "Wow!" moment, when we celebrated the first two First Eucharist masses. I am very pleased to now say that we have celebrated 5 masses, with 63 students and families! 

All the Masses were a true celebration of this the next sacramental step on the students' faith journey. Throughout the practices and on the nights themselves, the candidates showed how much the celebration of their First Eucharist really meant to them. They were so excited and showed such great reverence. Their questions at the practices were amazing and showed such deep ponderings.

Next year we look forward to being, "back on track" with 

Year 3 celebrating First Reconciliation, 

Year 4 First Eucharist and 

Year 6 Confirmation.

We are in the process of finalising the dates and will share them with you early in the new year.
