An Advent Prayer

Each week we have been lighting the candles on the Advent wreath to represent the four weeks of Advent with the words and our 2021 school theme.

Believe in the Good News of hope

Believe in the Good News of peace

Believe in the Good News of joy

Believe in the Good News of love

We have also created a Christmas Tree of Good News in the foyer. All the students wrote an item of Good News form 2021. Despite all the challenges we have all endured, there was plenty of Good News to celebrate. If you have time I suggest you pause in the Foyer and soak in some positivity from our students.

An Advent Prayer

God of Love, 

Your son, Jesus, 

is your greatest gift to us.

He is a sign of your love.

Help us walk in that love during the weeks of Advent,

As we wait and prepare for his coming.

We pray in the name of Jesus, our Savior.

Amen

Finally I would like to wish all the COHR Community a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you for all your support through out the times of challenge and the times of Good News. I look forward to a 2022 when continue our journey, celebrating our students and supporting each other.
