Co-curricular - Senior Sport

COVID-19 and Spectators at Sport

It is necessary for everyone to understand the clear expectations the College requires from all participants and supporters. At this point in time, I wish to emphasise that at Senior School Sport, two spectators per player may attend a Senior School Basketball fixture.

Both parents/carers, player siblings and students at St Patrick’s College and the opposing school are able to attend Cricket and Baseball fixtures on the understanding that they maintain social distancing and adhere to all protocols. The parent/carer may be asked to register their attendance by scanning a QR Code on arrival and wear a mask.

It is important to note that each school will have their own set of protocols and procedures that will be communicated to both their own community and that of visiting schools on a weekly basis. Parents/carers and boys are asked to check Team App on a regular basis for this information.

Annual House Swimming Carnival

The Secondary House and Age Championships will take place this Friday, 11 February at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre. This is a normal school day and all students are expected to attend, irrespective of their swimming capabilities. If for some reason i.e., medical, a boy cannot participate, a letter should have already been forwarded to me. I ask that if you are yet to notify the Year Co-Ordinator or me, please do so ASAP.

St Patrick’s Junior Rugby Club

The St Patrick’s Junior Rugby Club will commence pre-season skills training every Sunday morning at Hudson Park from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM.

These sessions will prove to be of great value in developing the boys’ skills in a wide range of areas. Importantly, these sessions are OPEN TO ALL irrespective of whether you have played, will play or just want to see what it is like. All age groups welcomed.

Sunday sessions are all about developing skills and having fun.  There is no obligation to play for the Junior Club.
