Remembrance Day

11th November 2021

On Thursday, 11th of November 2021, at 11am, in our individual classes, our teacher reminded us how meaningful the day is and that we are here, on this day, because of the brave soldiers who fought for us.

Every year on this day,  we see many students wearing a poppy as a symbol of our respect for the ANZAC's and all who fought with them.  We listened to a student about the history of Remembrance Day, another student read out the Ode, we learnt the reason for the one minute silence and the why it's respectful to stand. As we watched the last post we stood together silently and paid our respects.

Lest we forget
