Years Seven to Ten Interhouse Athletics Carnival 

On Friday 5 November, we held our Year Seven to Ten Interhouse Athletics Carnival. 

Baudin was awarded the Champion House Shield totalling 4047 points over the day’s events closely followed by Mokare on 4044 – just 3 points in it. 

Entering data from 90 plus events is not always the most exciting item on the agenda, but this carnival certainly made for an exciting finish…

• Mokare was up by 40 points with High Jump and 100m events to enter...
• With two events to enter and calculate the final points, the lead to Mokare was 10...
• The last event to be entered was the Year Ten Boys 100m results and Mokare held a 2 point lead, however Baudin you could say either powered or scraped over the line to take the title by 3.

I would like to thank all of the Years Seven to Ten students for their participation in the individual and team events, and staff for their assistance. Our Facilities team must be congratulated for all their time and effort in getting the area prepared enough for the carnival to be saved from postponement again.
