On Friday it was Book Week at school.  At school we got dressed up as our favourite book character.  The Year 2 cohort and the teachers dressed up too. The reason we do Book Week is because it is fun and to encourage us to read more and more books so we learn.  Our teachers let us dress up as our favourite book character and we do fun activities.

On the pyjama disco I dressed up as a skeleton. I liked the muffins, chocolate milk, popcorn. I also liked the movie called 101 Dalmatians. I didn’t dance because I don’t like dancing. We didn’t finish the movie because we had to go home. It was a fun night.

On the 20th of November 2020, the grade 2’s had a pyjama disco. We had a disco first and a lot of part songs where playing when we came in. I was dancing with Taylah W, we were dancing and chasing Sienna with a balloon. It was very funny. In the disco room area, me and Taylah G were showing each other our pyjama’s. She was wearing a Paris top and I was wearing a unicorn top. Grace was talking to me as we ate some muffins on the couch. Then, after we had finished our food, Grace, Taylah G and Taylah W and me all sat down on the floor to watch a movie. We were talking and then the movie started. We were watching 101 Dalmatians; it was creepy because it was getting dark and silent in the classroom. During the movie, Grace, Taylah G and Taylah W and me got tired so we asked if we could go to the bathroom to cool down a bit. We went in there and stayed for about 10 minutes and talked about how creepy it was then, when we came back, the movie was almost over so we went back again and talked a bit more. At the end we packed up, said goodbye to each other and lined up. We were talking to Monica on the way to the office about how creepy everything had been and the streetlights looked like eyes watching us. It was so creepy. I wish that night didn’t end!
