Year Prep

The Year that was...

This year was a crazy year in Prep. Our students settled into the beginning of school very well. They made new friends, met new teachers, met their buddies and navigated their way around all the amazing parts of our school.

Before we knew it, COVID 19 happened and we were in lockdown. The students and teachers took part in home schooling and set about learning under a whole new process. Students met with their teachers and classmates via zoom and completed amazing work from home. We celebrated 100 days of school from home with an online disco and some fun activities. We read books together. We chatted about our new life in lockdown and we were sad that we couldn’t see each other in person at school. 

Soon enough, we returned to school in Term 4. It was so exciting to see each other once again and we had some special school celebrations that made us feel great again. Some of the highlights were our Book Day Dress up and our Prep Teddy Bears Picnic Day.
