BE INVOLVED, BE CONNECTED

LIBRARY NEWS

We have lots of new readers and books to go into classrooms for next year. If you are have some time to come in and cover books we can now accept volunteers back into our space!

On Wednesday the 9th of December from 2pm we will be running a book covering session in the library. Due to social distancing restrictions we can only have a maximum of ten volunteers at a time. Please email me, lisa.breen@education.vic.gov.au to secure your place at the ‘Covering Bee’ or to let me know you are able to take books home to cover. I can leave some books to cover at the front office for those who are unable to attend.

As we get to the end of the year please keep an eye out for any school library books at home that need to be returned. Missing books will incur a $10 fee per book OR you can donate a good book from home to replace the lost one.

This is the last week for borrowing but our library sessions will continue with lots of end of year competitions and some great book prizes to be won!

Thanks,

Lisa Breen

DONATIONS PLEASE!

We are asking for donations of new books for our school library.

We would LOVE families to choose a non-fiction text about a topic of your child's choice.

A box will be located in the front office to collect donated books.

We thank you in advance for your contribution!
