Kharisma Kids - OSHC

Autumn Vacation Care @ Kharisma Kids

We had great weather for most of the two weeks in the school holidays.  The children who attended were able to get outside a considerable amount of the time to play on the playgrounds or with sports equipment.

We had many positive comments from families and many of the children didn’t want to leave when parent’s arrived to pick them up. We were so happy to see that we could support so many families during school break who still needed to work, and/or wanted somewhere safe and fun for their children to be cared for.

We started off with an Easter Craft day with Easter Eggs hunts, an Aboriginal/Far North Queensland Virtual Reality experience, USA Hot Dog day, Red Rooster Lunch restaurant experience, planting seedlings as well as a Busy Bees incursion.

We are planning next holidays to include some excursions again with all Risk Management plans in place to ensure we can keep safe in the community.  We hope we can be of assistance to our families of St Francis de Sales again in June/July.  If parents or children have any ideas for future programs, please don’t hesitate to flick us an email at kkids@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au .  We love to cater the program for the needs of the community.
