Orthodox Easter

Our Orthodox brothers and sisters celebrate their Easter this Sunday, 2 May.  May they know the joy of the risen Christ, and may our prayers be with them in this, the most important liturgical season of the year.

God bless you all!

Request for Items

Dear Parents and Members of the Community,

We are appealing to you for donations of used overlockers and sewing machines as well as donations of woollen garments, such as old school jumpers, including damaged or felted garments. We will use the sewing equipment and donated garments to upcycle them into blankets, mittens, beanies and stuffed toys for those living on the margins.

Boys can bring any donations to Mrs Smith’s Homeroom in Raymer 26 during homeroom.

Thank you for your consideration and generosity in advance.

Thank You

Thank you to everyone who collected the Woolworths Discovery Garden pots. Over 360 pots were generously donated by the community.

The Social Justice Action Group (SJAG) and other students will use the pots to plant seeds in the St Francis of Assisi Sustainability Gardens, like these snow peas seedlings that are nearly ready to transplant.

SJAG has also used some of the seeds from the pots and will be growing cabbage, spinach and cherry tomatoes as a result of the generosity of our community.

It is our hope that we can provide some food to support some of our partners and charities over winter and/or sell produce at school.
