A Moment of Gratitude

As Term 1 comes to an end, it is remarkable to think that we have had 11 (some 12) weeks together as a learning community at Curiosity.

Looking through our gallery of images for this term there is much to give thanks for.  As I stop to reflect upon the good things that we have experienced as a community I am able to sit in a place of gratitude.  Even as you read this, I encourage you to stop for a few moments and practise being present with your thoughts, to recall some moments from today where you can feel thankful.

In the book of Psalms in the Bible we see a Hebrew word 'Selah' at the end of some passages.  Psalms is full of many songs and the instruction of 'Selah' gives the singer/reader the chance to pause, to reflect and to find quiet moments to treasure.

As I take time to pause, reflect and find a quiet moment to reflect on this term my heart is full of Curiosity treasure.  Here is just a small glimpse.

If we do not see you during the holiday break, we pray that you have a safe and treasure building time with your child/ren at home.  Take moments to play, laugh and explore together with moments of 'Selah' to anchor yourselves to a place of gratitude.

We shall see you all back on Tuesday the 27th of April after the Public Holiday.
