Sports Report

LMR Swimming

32 students qualified into the Loddon Mallee Swimming Competition held on Thursday 18th March in Swan Hill.

We qualified for 14 individual events and 10 relay events, which was an amazing achievement.

Swan Hill turned on the weather and our students rallied around each other and showed great sportsmanship, with encouragement from the sidelines and lots of cheering.

Out of the 24 events that we entered, St. Joseph’s ended up on the podium 17 times which included nine firsts, five second placings and three third places.  What an effort!

Special mention to Nash Ramage who won all four of his individual races and then both of his relays!  Six from six is a very impressive effort Nash!  Congratulations.

The students who won events now go onto the State Finals in Melbourne in April.
