Mother's Day Stall

Next Thursday 6 May is the annual Mother's Day stall run by the Parent's Association. The parents have put together a wonderful collection of gifts for the children to choose from. Please remember to send $6 along with your child on Thursday if you wish for them to purchase a present. All classes visit the stall and the children are able to purchase a present. At the end of the day children are able to visit again (once everyone has had a chance to make an initial purchase) and then buy another present for Grandma if they wish.

One of the easiest ways to remain engaged and interested at school, at work or in life is to enjoy the company of the people that we are with. Let’s talk about how to build friendships (without turning into some sort of gushy,'.

Fire Carriers

Last week we were scheduled to have the Fire Carriers Commissioning Ceremony with a representative from Catholic Aboriginal Ministry. Unfortunately this did not go ahead but has been rescheduled for next Friday 7 May. We look forward to celebrating this special event in our school year.

Fire Carriers is an acronym, FIRE stands for Friends Igniting Reconciliation through Education. This is now our second year of officially being a part of the program and I thank our very dedicated leaders for their commitment to this important work.
