Cross Country

What a brilliant afternoon for Cross country!!!!.  The weather was perfect, parents were able to attend, and the children loved being actively involved in a whole school activity.  The buzz as the children walked down to the park could be  clearly heard up and down Severn St. There was plenty of team spirit on display  A huge thank you to Richard Price, the staff and parents who helped on the day. There is an enormous amount  of  preparation that goes into making  an event  so successful.

SCSEF 

Camp, Sports, Excursion Funding (CSEF) in the amount of $125 per child per year is available to any parent holding a government, Pension, Healthcare, Veterans etc Card.  The card is means based so must be in the name of a parent and not a child.

If you received this funding last year you do not need to apply, it will be processed automatically for 2021.

If it is a new card and new application please contact the office and complete a CSEF application form.  Thank you

5/6 Camp

What a perfect start to the Yr 5/6 camp on Wednesday. After one  bus took a slight detour  (got lost)  everyone arrived safely at Silvan Dam to commence the 5km walk to the camp site.

After introductions and lunch the children commenced their  afternoon activities. These activities  included;

the giant swing, high ropes, bike education, initiatives course and wild life encounters.

The day finished with a night walk and everyone's favourite,  marshmallows around the campfire. This was a new experience for some children.

By 9.00pm  everyone was ready for bed!!!!  Teachers included.

Eucharist Commitment Masses

Just a reminder that this Saturday and Sunday are our First Eucharist commitment masses. All candidates are expected to attend one of the masses. 

Uniform

All children are expected to be in full winter uniform as of next Monday. Parents please ensure your child is in the correct uniform at all times. If your child is out of uniform for any reason a note must be provided to their classroom teacher.  Second hand  uniform items can be obtained from the second hand uniform shop. All new uniform items can be obtained from Bod Stewarts in Kew.
