This week in Stage One, we have started to learn about Chance and Probability in Maths. Students have been focusing on the language of chance and the likelihood of things occurring by using Bee-Bots and completing online problem-solving games.

This week in CAPA, Stage One students are learning to play music using percussion instruments with rhythm and technique. We practised these new skills by performing 'Baby Elephant Walk'.

Throughout the first half of this term, all stages have been looking at increasing their fitness and improving their running style. Each week we are moving through running courses, relays and practicing how to breathe, while we coordinate our bodies during a sprint.

Leader of Learning (PDHPE)

Over the past few weeks, Stage 2 has been learning how to create exciting Narratives. Students have been learning about adjectives and adverbs to describe the appearance and actions of their characters and setting. They were first tasked with drawing characters and setting, adding colour when necessary. Their creations were then labelled using adverbs and adjectives, focusing on using noun groups (two adjectives describing a noun).

It was great to see so many of our class at the ANZAC Day Service. Your children marched with respect and dignity, and it was an honour to march beside them on such a special day.
