Chapel Mass

It was a pleasure to attend the last Chapel Mass of the Term alongside Staff and Mercy Representatives. Hosted by Mr Di Sano’s 9RE class and Father Joey, our Mass was structured around the problems of vengeance, violence and the need for forgiveness, as well as to serve for God, and to await salvation. Weekly Chapel Mass is open to all who wish to attend both here and at Mercy next term on Monday at 8:00 am.

Riley Seeto - Year 11

Morning Assembly

Boys from Year 9 REL1 also led the Monday Assembly with a prayer celebrating both the feasts of Corpus Christi and Sacred Heart with a mention too of the nun, Sr Margaret Mary who is said to have been visited by a vision of Christ in the 17th century, asking for the establishment of the feast of the Sacred Heart to represent His burning love for humanity. An important part of our faith formation is the opportunity for students to lead prayer and we thank Year 9 for their contribution this week.

Wrap Up – Winter Appeal

THANK YOU to all those who contributed to the Winter Appeal this year. All donations have now been delivered to St Vincent de Paul, Woy Woy and Jesuit Refugee Services, Parramatta. Thank you especially to Mr Fernando Mendez and Mr Dallas Davies who assisted with these drop offs, ensuring that these goods will go to those who need it most.

CentaCare Solidarity Program – 26/ 27 June 2023

The CentaCare Solidarity Program is running once again, with students from Years 10 and 11 representing the College over two days. This program gives our students an opportunity to work with workers from CentaCare Industries, who live with an intellectual disability. Students are asked to arrive at the Benaroon Rd Facility in Belmore at 8:45 am.
