Student achievements

Congratulations to the following students: 

Ava Schultz, Ruby Seabourne and Sophia Raudino (Year 10) who each submitted a question for former New Zealand Prime Minister, Dame Jenny Shipley to answer during an interview with ABC Radio Hobart. 

Dame Shipley is a Patron of the Alliance of Girls' Schools Australasia and was recently in Tasmania for the Asia Pacific Summit on Girls' Education for which she was keynote speaker. 

We are very proud of the Law and Politics students for the thoughtful and intelligent questions they raised. Listen to the full interview on the ABC website here. 

Taylah (Year 11) and Macey Hayes (Year 4), who proudly represented Tasmania at the 2023 Judo Australia National Championships held recently on the Gold Coast. Macey was awarded a bronze medal in her event, with Taylah adding to the medal tally, winning gold in the Cadets National Champion and two bronze medals in separate divisions. These are outstanding results, well done!
