Cumberland Dance Party
The students of Cumberland had such a great time getting their glow sticks and snacks and dancing the night away! The Cumberland Dance party is a great way for kids to get all dressed up and have fun with all their friends!
Thank you to all the amazing Parents & Friends volunteers who made it happen and the staff who gave up some of their Friday night to come along and boogie with them.
Community Business Directory 2022 Fundraiser
Many families in the Aitken College community manage or own a business. Each year as a fundraiser the Parents & Friends Association compile a Community Business Directory to provide a way in which we can support local business. The 2023 Business Directory commenced early in March, for a twelve-month period, and is advertised on the College website as well as the newsletter. Aitken families may purchase a space for $50.00 to promote and advertise their business. All money raised from this most valued fundraiser will be used by the Parents & Friends Association to improve the environment, facilities and equipment of the College, to benefit our children.
Pre-loved Uniform Donations
If you have Aitken College uniform items at home that are no longer in use and are in wearable condition, we would love to have them. The Parents and Friends Association clean and iron the donated uniform items and re-sell them at our quarterly Pre-loved Uniform Sales with all the funds going back to the Parents and Friends Association fundraising account. The items can be dropped off in our clothing bin near the main Reception. Please remember that the items need to be in a wearable condition and we do not have a market for re-sale on Aitken socks.
Pre-Loved Uniform Sale
If you need to get some new winter uniform items, please come to our Pre-Loved Uniform sale to be held:

- TIME: 9am - 11m
- LOCATION: Common Room 1
We will be accepting cash and cards (a 1.9% transaction card fee is charged). All funds raised from the Parents and Friends Association activities go back into running events and purchasing additional equipment for the school.
