Energy Audit

Students at Aitken College are currently undertaking a comprehensive energy audit of the school. The audit will involve monitoring Aitken’s energy usage by recording the number of appliances and measuring their energy consumption, assessing room temperature, lighting, windows' and doors' energy efficiency. The data collected will be used to:

  • assist Aitken College renew its energy module, which is requirement of being a Resource Smart School
  • raise awareness and hopefully change behavior/habitats towards energy conservation and
  • mprove Aitken College’s energy management in the future.
