Early Years

Foundation ~ 'God's Garden':

The preps have begun to investigate where our food comes from and how we can care for the land and animals. It has been amazing to witness their understandings expand as they learn through hands-on play experiences. They are beginning to understand the link between farms and food and that milk is not just made in a factory! Throughout this unit we will be growing, harvesting and cooking food. Making classrooms farms, and grocery shops ensuring there will be truck drivers to transport the goods. We are looking forward to seeing where this unit takes us!
