Welcome to the new members of Council and we hope that those both re-nominating and elected for the first time will find the role rewarding. The School Council AGM will be held on Monday 23 March at 7:00pm with an ordinary meeting of the new Council at 7:30pm. All are welcome to attend the AGM and also to observe any School Council meeting during the year.

Student Leaders Presentation

A reminder that our Student Leaders will receive their badges at the Student Leadership Ceremony as part of our Assembly on Friday at 3:00pm. Parents and friends are invited to join us in Chandler Hall at 2:30 for an afternoon tea. Our students continue to take on their leadership roles with great enthusiasm and responsibility.

Cybersafety Parent Workshop

An invitation was circulated on Compass yesterday inviting parents to attend a Cybersafety Workshop hosted by Viewbank College on Wednesday 4 March at 7:00pm. The evening will be coordinated by THINK U KNOW Australia is a cybersafety education program that educates parents, carers and teachers of how people are using technology, the challenges they may face online, and how to help them overcome these in a safe and ethical way.

Please ensure that you let us know if you are attending so we can prepare for the evening. Send through your acceptance to rosanna.ps@edumail.vic.gov.au or return the attached slip to the office.

Working Bee

A reminder that we will be conducting a Working Bee on Saturday 14 March from 9:00am to 12:00 noon. The most important task we have to tackle is the spreading of mulch across the upper and lower playground. Your support in making our playground spaces safe is greatly appreciated. Come along with gloves, sturdy shoes, hat and wheelbarrows and smiles! Looking forward to a great morning.

Student Drop off and Pickup Times

Parents are reminded to ensure their children are picked up on time. Playground supervision begins at 8:45am in the morning. Please ensure students do not arrive any earlier as no supervision nor first aid provision can support these students. All students must be picked up prior to 3:45pm as this is the conclusion of afternoon supervision on the playground. For any parents who may be late please ensure you register your child free of charge with OSHClub.
