Assistant Principal's Message

Maramba Vision

Providing a caring environment where aspirations are nurtured, positive relationships grow, success is celebrated and a passion for lifelong learning is ignited.

Nurture. Innovate. Celebrate.

Dear Students, Parents, Carers and Families,

Community Cybersafety Agreement

Cybersafety is an important part of the Maramba community. By the time children arrive at school, many are already online and using digital technologies. We understand the role that digital technologies have on students becoming global citizens and the opportunities they bring to learning. We recognise the need for students to be safe and responsible users of digital technology.

Maramba is an eSmart school which is about a building supportive and connected social environments both on and offline. It is an initiative of the Alannah and Madeline Foundation that helps teachers and the greater community to best manage cyber risks, bullying and cyber bullying issues so students feel safer and supported.

Our students are the greatest beneficiaries of the digital era and are learning to navigate the online world at a younger age. We need to ensure that our students know how to be smart, safe and responsible online.

On Wednesday, there was a message on Konnective to all families with regards to the Community Cybersafety Agreement. Please ensure that you read and complete the Community Agreement form. This form can be found on QKR by selecting the ‘Forms’ tab on the main menu.

Breakfast Club

Just reminder that the Breakfast Club in the foyer of the gym from 8.20 to 8.40 am,  on Wednesday and will provide a healthy breakfast for students who may otherwise arrive at school hungry and for those who may need to catch up with their friends in a supportive environment.

Kind regards,

Diane Morwood
