Wonder Recycling Rewards for Schools
Tyson and Callan from VCAL would like to ask for your support collecting empty bread bags and bread tags to reduce plastic bag waste. As we collect more plastics bags and tags, we will earn more rewards points to redeem on new sport equipment for our school. Any bread bags that you collect can be put in the pink boxes around the school. The boxes are sitting in the Junior and Senior Sub Schools, Food Tech and the Administration Office. The collecting will finish on Friday, 16 July. We appreciate your support.
Thank you.
VCAL project - requesting donations for the SALVOS
In VCAL we are required to create community partnerships that help make a difference in our communities. For my project I have chosen to partner with the SALVOS and collect donations from the school community that will support their programs.
The Salvation Army is a charity based store, just down the road from us, who collect donations and help less fortunate members of our community. Money from the donations sold goes towards funds that allow the SALVOS to continue community projects that support vulnerable Australians that may suffer from mental health issues, addiction, escaping domestic violence, struggling financially or homelessness.
We are asking for any goods you may have spare, that are still in good condition, such as clothing, shoes, household items, books, toys, bedding, etc. Our dropbox will be located in the C corridor, near the Administration office, with a ‘SALVOS’ sign on the front it.
Your donations will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Hayley
