Kharisma Kids - OSHC

Last Week of Term 2 at Kharisma Kids

Wow, what a term we have had at Before and After School care at Kharisma Kids. With the longest night of the year behind us (the Winter Solstice), and the middle of Winter setting in, we have sure been busy !!

During this period of lock downs, and back to school, then lock downs again, we have made sure that the children have kept as normal of a schedule as possible during their sessions with us.  This time is important for the children,  to allow them some time- out with friends, to relax and maintain important friendships and connections with educators and their peers.

During this term we have tried to spend as much time doing as much physical activity as we can while the weather allows us to be outside.  While indoors, children have made many suggestions of activities that they wanted to do, which we have included into our weekly programme.

-  Tending to our small vegetable patch in the school community garden.

-   Some yummy warm afternoon snacks as requested by the children.

-  Some sensory play activities to make the children feel more calm and relaxed.

-   Lots of colouring in activities to relax busy minds.

-  Some time feeding and spending time with the school chickens.

-  Imaginary/role play activities to take little minds to other places.

While unfortunately we were unable to provide a Vacation Care programme this time, we hope that moving forward it is possible next time for the September holidays.   We would like to thank everyone for their support this term, from parents, and especially teachers that allow us to share their space with them.

We look forward to next term full of more activities and lots of fun with friends.

Changes to paying fees next Term

We have sent out messages to our current families enrolled with us about some changes to how we operate, through the Xplor app.

As from 1st July, the only payment methods we will have to pay fees is through the Xplor app.

  1. Set up Direct Debit – setting up direct debit allows your fees to be paid in weekly or fortnightly amounts.  This makes keeping your expenses low and you won't get bill shock.   You can pay via your bank account (we will absorb the transaction fee), or pay by Credit Card but you will be charged a % from Debit Success.

  2. Pay with Pay Now via the app using your Credit card (again you will be charged a % from Debit Success.

We will no longer accept Direct Deposit payments straight into our bank account, and we will no longer have the eftpos machine as it constantly has issues and is rarely used.

We have moved to these options to keep the cost of running the service to a minimum to keep your fees as low as we can.

Enrolling

If you need to enrol over the School Holidays for next term as we slowly transition back to more workers in the workplace, please use the following link to start the process.

End of the Financial Year

As we come to the end of the financial year we would appreciate any families who have any outstanding amounts owing, to pay before the start of Term 3 (by July 11th).  Your fees are what allows us to continue to operate and offer your children so many great activities and afternoon snacks.

Have a lovely two weeks.
