A Message from the Principal

Welcome back to Term 3!

What a busy start to the term with the Year 5/6 trip to Sovereign Hill last week and then, yet another lockdown. Thank you for adjusting to Remote Learning and supporting your children at home. It is a routine that we are all becoming accustomed to. If you need any extra support during remote learning please do not hesitate to contact the school.

This term is set to be a big one, with the whole School Production, P-2 Swimming Program, Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences and also Confirmation. We look forward to sharing these special events and many rich learning experiences with you all.

We are delighted to welcome back Naomi Ryan from Maternity leave. She will be working two days a week in 1/2CB, supporting Marisa Box, while Carmel Barro is on Long Service Leave.

There was great progress on the Building Project throughout the holidays. We have moved into our new STEM/Performing Arts room and the new Library/Resource Centre is being set up also. New roofs have been replaced on two of the buildings and the outdoor spaces will be completed in 3 weeks. It is very exciting to see the years of planning finally becoming a reality.

Our Year 5/6 students and staff had a fantastic trip to Sovereign Hill last week. Please read the students recounts on page 3. Special thanks to Mrs Pattison, Mr Brown, Julie and Monica for accompanying the students across the 3 days.
