Principal's Report

Resumption to on-site learning

School arrival time

Students are asked to arrive at school between 8:45-9am, unless utilising our OSHC facility.

Many students being dropped prior to this time are being left unsupervised and therefore unsafe, across our large site.

I acknowledge parking and traffic can be challenging, however, keep in mind the huge gains we've made in this space.  If older students can be dropped further from school and walk the final few hundred metres, that would be much appreciated.

Restrictions to respect

Welcome back to all students, it was great to see everyone back on-site today.

Thanks to all staff & students for their continued efforts with learning and wellbeing during yet another lockdown, as well as our on-site learners and staff, who again did an amazing job.

Please note, current restrictions are not my decision, rather the Minister for Education in conjunction with DET key personnel.  Schools are governed differently to community spaces.

We are all doing our best for our community, please keep that in mind.

Current restrictions include:

  • no access to the school site, for non-essential personnel
  • physical distancing and density limits for staff
  • masks for adults, both inside and outside
  • increased hygiene awareness
  • dispersed entry/exit points ie Brady building students from kindergarten & new school site for the remainder of students (this is where possible)
  • staff will support student transitions to arrive and depart school
  • camps and excursions still possible if single school use only
  • incursions not permitted

All restrictions remain current until further notice.

School Fees

Just a friendly reminder to honour school fees for 2021.  Our friendly administration team have sent reminders out to those families yet to complete their payments.  All payments were due at mid-year term break.

Keep looking outward and stay positive & safe.

I acknowledge the First Peoples of the Wathaurong, who are the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which I work and live, and pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
