Sport opportunities in our local community.

We know that having strong links within a community is vital for our students to reach their full potential and the local Hastings Sporting Clubs are looking to engage more local kids into their great club.

The Hastings Junior Football Club is looking for football players and Auskick participants. Two of our students are showing us where to find more details.

Student Leadership

One of our leaders' daily roles is to hoist the Australian flag on our flagpole when we are at school. They were lucky to have one of our parents with expertise in this area explain the correct procedures and methods of handling the flag and the importance of this job in our school. Navy Petty Officer CIS, Meagan, explained the importance of hoisting the flag at Cerberus and when at sea. Meagan ensured we were using the correct terminology and we all learnt new things. The students enjoyed the session and look forward to learning more about the use of flags when we are able to install all three flagpoles.
