WORLDS GREATEST SHAVE

As you are hopefully aware, we are one week away from BSC taking part in the World's Greatest Shave event for 2023 which will be taking place at lunchtime on Thursday 16th March in the Ampitheatre. 

We take part in the event every year to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation. At the time of writing, we have raised just over $8,000 and are closing in on our target on $10,000. 

This is an entirely student-run event and the SRC, Senior and Junior house leadership teams and our arts leaders have put a lot of work in to creating what will undoubtedly be a successful event. 

On the day, we will be running a 'crazy hair' competition, where students will be able to style (not dye) their hair in a fun, creative way for the entire school day. There will also be house-based hair spray stalls and live music performances throughout lunchtime to raise more money through gold-coin donations. 

Please note that unlike last year, this is not a theme day so all students should be in full school uniform throughout the day.
