Escape Room Fun in Mathematics!

Recently, students in a 7.5 Mathematics class participated in an engaging Escape Room activity centered on the topic of Measurement. This activity involved students working collaboratively in small groups to solve a variety of tasks related to various aspects of measurement.

Throughout the activity, students were required to apply their knowledge of key measurement concepts and skills, such as converting between units of measurement and using mathematical formulas and calculations to solve problems. The Escape Room activity provided a highly interactive and engaging learning experience that allowed students to apply their knowledge of measurement in a real-world context, while also fostering teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills. It also provided an opportunity for students to develop their problem-solving abilities and gain confidence in their mathematical abilities.

The winning group, who successfully completed the tasks within the shortest time frame consisted of Elizabeth Zirilli, Eva Edgcombe-Lucas, and Larah McGibbon.

Congratulations to all students for their participation and outstanding efforts in the Escape Room activity, and to the winning group for their excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
