P&F Update

What a very busy Term 1 we have had in P&F Committee! We hosted some fantastic events (Movie Night was a highlight) and have helped raise thousands of dollars for our school.

  2. Sell the 60 chocolates for $1 each and keep the money as reimbursement.

P&F Frequently Asked Questions

Is there something you would like to know about P&F activities but you don’t know who to ask? This is your chance! Please email your questions to pandf@hsringwoodnth.catholic.edu.au or ask any member of the P&F committee and we will answer them here.

Q: Why do we use online payment systems (eg Trybooking)?

A: There are a few reasons why online payment platforms are preferrable for P&F activities eg Food Days, fundraising drives etc.

  • Changes to the way our accounts are administered in the past few years means that handling cash requires the permission/supervision of a registered person eg School Bursar.
  • Keeping large quantities of cash onsite poses a security risk.
  • Cash payments are not easily tracked and have to be deposited regularly at the bank. Prior to banking, we also have to count the money manually as counting machines are no longer in use. (This process can be very time-consuming.)
  • Many parents don’t have cash handy these days and many requested a cashless option.
  • Using an online platform means that parents can pay for activities at their own convenience, without having to find the correct change to send to school.

(*Please note: the icy pole stall and Second-hand Uniform Shop still accept cash*)
