Celebrating Achievement

 

Hayden Carr (Year 11) won the Cairns Tenpin Bowling Junior Masters earlier this year and will be competing in North Queensland Championships & Masters in Mackay in June. He is also going to Tasmania in June representing North Queensland in the Australian Junior Championships & Masters in July. Congratulations Hayden, we're proud of your efforts!


 

Congratulations to Sienna Hodgson (Year 9) who competed in the All Features Jam cable wakeboard competition at the Cairns Wake Park over the weekend. Sienna won both the under 15 and under 18 women's division titles earning herself two gold medals for her efforts.

St Mary's congratulates Harry Nolan (Year 9) who has signed up as a School Based Apprentice with Mr Meats at Mt Sheridan. Harry will be undertaking a Cert III in Meat Processing (Retail Butchery). All the best with your apprenticeship Harry.


The Peninsula Squash Tournament was held in Cairns over four days concluding on Sunday. Aiden Stroud (Year 7) competed in the 10-15 years, Division 2 group and placed 3rd for his singles match. Our Peninsula Team placed 5th overall as a region. Congratulations to all students that participated. 

We wish Aiden best of luck when he competes in the upcoming Queensland Junior Championships in Nerang in the June school holidays.
