We thank the ICU and the Emergency Department at the Cairns Base Hospital for giving Missio Dei the opportunity to live out their mission of "service". Missio Dei baked brownies with love as a small token of appreciation for all the work our healthcare workers have done to keep our community safe during COVID. Four of the Missio Dei leaders were able to deliver the baked brownies with handwritten notes to the hospital Friday 6th May.

We thank the parents/caregivers of students in Missio Dei for their never-ending support of their child to be a missio. Outreached programme run by Missio Dei is not possible without your support and encouragement. Thank you!

A message of thanks from the ICU:

"Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to the school and students for the amazing delivery of brownies and beautiful messages of thanks today. Absolutely made our day after a very busy week (and months) in the ICU!!! Many thanks from the nurses, doctors and everyone in the Cairns Intensive Care Unit''. ~ Kyla
