A big thank you to those parents who have dropped off items for this year’s Ball. These donated items are already going a long way towards this year’s Ball preparation and are very much appreciated.

Please note that new items have been added to our wish list so please continue to review the updated list to see if you can support us with these basic everyday items which can be dropped off at College Admin anytime during the school week.

Take Pride - Take Two for the Team

As part of 2022’s year group initiative for Year 9, taking pride in Trinity, this week’s focus is on cleaning up our school, and helping to make it a place we can be proud to be in. So, take two for the team; whenever you walk between classes or at a break time, just try to pick up two pieces of litter and put it in the right bin – it doesn’t matter how small or big, as it all makes a difference. If you see a plastic water bottle, you can also put it in the purple and green bin in Carrigg Court for 10cents. Best of luck.

Prefect Perspectives

Here we are at the end of another week of school at TC after a weekend of sporting and performing arts triumph as well as a weekend of plenty of appreciation for the marvellous mums of Trinity from our boys, we are all so grateful for the work you all do.

Saturday saw every Trinity 1st sporting team beat Guildford Grammar; a clean sweep! A feat which was not achieved once last season, so for it to be seen in just Round 2 promises a successful winter sports season for our teams. This clean sweep featured dominant victories by Badminton, Rugby, Hockey and Cross Country as well as Football’s first win since the 2020 season, definitely a pretty exciting day for all the boys involved in these teams. Congratulations also to the Middle A Rugby team for being named team of the week after a hard fought win in their game on Friday.

This week Trinity will be facing off against Wesley in our winter sports with the 1st teams playing away at Wesley. Everyone will definitely be looking to continue from the successes of last round with a win against our neighbours across the river in what promises to be a very wet and muddy weekend.

The weekend also saw Trinity present the amazing “The Monster In The Maze”, an operatic production, over three awesome nights. I’m sure the countless hours of rehearsal over last term and the holidays were well worth it for the boys and girls involved when they got to see the many entertained faces of the TC community packing out Gibney Hall.

Week 3 was a big week for the music department in fact, with the Trinity Rock Bands and Swing Band 1 performing at Badlands Bar on Wednesday night. This was an awesome opportunity for our musicians to showcase their musical talent to a bar full of members of the Trinity community. The superb contemporary and jazz music played by our bands left most of these people dancing by the end of the night.

With exam break for our Year 11s and 12s just a week away, many boys are now well and truly into their exam study routines. These two weeks are a great opportunity for the boys to display the hard work they have put into their studies this semester and also a chance to get some time away from school and study on their own schedules.
