Cybersafety presentation by Susan McLean | 'Collaborate and Advocate, The Role of a Parent – Thursday 9 June

So far, we have more than 100 attending this event, which will be held in the Nagle Centre from 7.00pm.

With the challenges in the current climate posed by social media, I would encourage you to attend this session with Susan McLean.

It will be a valuable opportunity to meet with a professional in the field and discuss some strategies to help keep our young people safe online.

Welcome to Senior Studies Dinner

Last Friday evening, our Year 10 students attended their 'Welcome to Senior Studies Dinner' at Blundstone Arena.

It was an enjoyable evening where students came together and had a wonderful time building friendships and dancing the night away.

The students looked fantastic in their formal attire, and they certainly did themselves and their parents and carers proud. See more photos from the night here.

Learning Conferences – Monday 25 July (9.00am–7.00pm)

The College is changing the start of our Semester 2 calendar.

On Monday 25 July we will be holding our parent/student/teacher conferences here at the College for all students from Kinder to Year 12.

These conferences will be an opportunity to review the Semester 1 report and will look at setting some learning goals for the remainder of the year.

The booking information for these conferences will be sent out in the reporting package. We look forward to a highly successful day.

Sports

The past couple of weeks have been very busy with our netball, badminton, water polo, hockey and flippa ball teams competing in their rosters.

Where I have been able to, I have attended games and been delighted to see the dedication of our students. I thank all those who have made the commitment to be involved.

A big congratulations to our Senior School Cross Country team who recently competed successfully at the Year 7-12 SSATIS Cross Country event held last Thursday. Read the full report in Sports news
