Resource Centre

The Resource Centre has participated in Laudato Si’ Week at Kildare by promoting ‘building human ecology through care of our common home, working to ‘answer the cry of the poor’ and the ‘cry of the earth’ with a display of literature to inform our community of the issues facing ourselves and our planet. The promotion of this literature will continue in a range of formats into the future to support The Laudato Si' Action Plan.

A new display of books reflecting the Book Club theme for June, “Mysteries of the Deep”, is on show in the Resource Centre for students to borrow and enjoy reading. The collection includes stories about underwater adventures, pirates, mermaids, beaches, seafaring, dolphins and survival.

The Resource Centre Web Page has been updated by Mr Gowland who has also organised to provide a link to it in this and future Newsletters to keep the College community informed about the many resources that are available and being constantly added to the collection as well as the events and displays that take place in the Resource Centre.
