Update regarding Piano Keyboard Lessons.
Hello parents and students,
I need to explain the changes in Keyboard lessons this term. A teacher at another school unexpectedly and without advance notice resigned causing a major re-shuffle of our teaching staff. I have taken over at the other school and Amelia Roberts has taken on the students I had at Watsonia North.
Amelia established a great bond with the students at Heidelberg and will miss them. We have been fortunate to be able to bring two teachers in to take her students. Michael Zumis and Jordan Daniels.
Michael Zumis is a Piano and Music Theory Tutor. Who graduated with university music degrees in performance and research; B.Mus (Hons), M.Mus, PostGradDip (Warsaw). He is also an accredited AMEB teacher.  Michael teaches students classical and modern piano music, from beginner to advanced levels.  Currently he also tutors at Doncaster Primary School and Bernie’s Music Land in Ringwood, as well as after school hours lessons in his home studio.
Jordan Daniels is a 2nd year Bachelor of Music student at Monash University ( with Rachael King , who teaches on Thursday at HPS. ) Studying popular and Jazz music, from a traditional classical background.
I thank Jordan and Michael for their assistance and re-working their schedule to be able to assist with lessons at Heidelberg. I have also been working full days teaching and on rehearsals for Mamma Mia production at Balcombe Grammar, and I apologize for the delay in relaying this information.
Thanking you all for your support .   David  Dobell.
