REMINDERS AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

Important Dates

• Last day of OSHC for 2019 is Friday 20th December 6pm. We will start from the end of school that day which is 1.30pm lunch will be provided for children attending the last day
• Christmas program on the 23rd 7am-6pm & 24th 7am - 4pm December bookings are open. Please get in quick if you need those days. Booking form attached.

• January Vacation Care program will open on Monday 6th January and run for 3 weeks. Booking form attached.

• Janaury days before school starts – Monday 27th is a public Holiday, Tuesday 28th is a team training day and there will be no program provided this day, Wednesday 29th will be a curriculum day program with information to be sent out early in January 2020. School Starts Thursday 30th January with OSHC Normal hrs.

PROGRAM NEWS

BEFORE SCHOOL CARE

We have enjoyed using graphite pencils and learning the different ways we can create with them. The wooden spaceship and its creatures has been a great hit with all of the children.

We are turning the OSHC office play space into a post office and writing letters to Santa.

Yoga is being added to the mornings to encourage some mindfulness into what can be a crazy time of the year.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE

 Junior Program

Children have been learning a special Christmas song for the OSHC family Christmas party, which they are really enjoying. They are also learning how to be creative with different drawing mediums, using charcoal and watercolour pencils.

We will be making PomPom reindeers and Paper Mache decorations to get into the Christmas theme in our room.

We will also be continuing the lovely signing and adding actions to our amazing Christmas song.

Middle Program

Playdough making and playing badminton have been the go to activities for the past few weeks. The children have enjoyed challenging their friends.

Making Christmas wreaths and continuing the practicing of their special Christmas song will be the focus for the last few weeks. Getting into the Christmas spirit is always great fun.

Senior Program

The children have been finishing painting the Christmas presents and making special cards. Learning decoupage has been a new skill learnt in the past few weeks.

Christmas themed sweets to be baked in the coming weeks and preparing for our special Christmas party and creating special decorations for our room.
