FA - Miss Zoe

What superstar writers we have in FA. We refer to the dotted thirds section as ‘laser beams’ – a much cooler name! We discuss how each letter sits on the ground and what laser beams the letters are allowed to touch. The children are doing such beautiful handwriting!

FB - Miss Ady

We have been doing lots of work recognising and making numbers to 10 and up to 20. Our superstar mathematicians are developing their subitizing skills so that they can recognise numbers quickly.

FC - Miss Lou and Mrs Clancy

The students complete 2 pages from their handwriting book each week. They are completed after the letter name and sound have been introduced and practiced.  This beautiful handwriting has been completed by Sophie B. 

Every Monday the students participate in a Diary Writing session. The teacher models some writing on the board, with a focus on letter formation and basic sentence structure. This was Foundation C's first time at this! What a wonderful first go! This piece of work was completed by Luke D.
