Cooking:

We had a wonderful time making tomato passata. Our 8 cooking classes managed to get through 1307 tomatoes (116kg) and made 99 bottles/jars of pasta.

This week we have been trying our passata on some handmade pasta (capunti). It was a big hit.

 

If you would like to try some of our our delicious passata or pasta sauce you can purchase some at the office or at our mini market on Wednesday afternoons.

Gardening:

The working bee is fast approaching and this group of students have been busy preparing for our new herb garden. We pulled up the old irrigation from the existing garden, removed the herbs and potted them up ready for their new home. 

We can't wait to explore the new herb garden and explore the tastes and smells.
