Working Bee - this Sunday 21st, 8am onwards

Your help would be greatly appreciated. By offering assistance, we are able to keep maintenance costs at MPS to a reasonable level. If you have access to equipment such as a blower, wheelbarrow, buckets for weeding, gloves, shovels for moving tanbark, that too, would be helpful.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

Bunnings Sausage SizzleSaturday 27th March

A callout for volunteers has already been posted on Compass. If you would like to get involved, please sign up using this Google Doc link, or call the office.

Easter Raffle

Please keep bringing in Easter goodies to fill our hampers! We will wrap hampers closer to the end of term. Click here to purchase raffle tickets. The raffle will be drawn on the final day of Term 1, at the Easter Hat Parade. (Hat Parade begins approx 9:15am)

Early Departures

We seem to be having many parents pick up their child/ren for an early departure. As much as we are willing to support pick ups for appointments and travel, it can be difficult to locate children in the yard during playtimes! If you are to collect your child early, please communicate this to your son or daughter and ask them to have their bag packed and ready. To avoid pick ups during break times, we ask that you collect your child before 2pm or after 2:40pm. A quick call to the office on your way will also allow time for your child to make their way to the admin area.

Lunch Clubs

Our teachers have been running a variety of lunch clubs this term, appealing to a range of interests including coding, drawing, reading and gardening. Our Grade 6 leaders have been the most amazing helpers in a lot of these lunch clubs and it has been heart-warming to see the cross-age play during these sessions.

Unwell Students

Unfortunately, we have had an influx of unwell students attend school. As well as the risk  of infecting other children, our teachers are at risk too! Please keep your child home if they are generally unwell, have any COVID symptoms or gastro-type symptoms. Below is a document that has been released by DET in relation to gastro. PLEASE READ!

Foundation 2022 Enrolments - Due now!

As you may have noticed by the giant sign at the front of our school, it is school tour season! We have had many families through the school already and we have continued to see strong interest in joining the MPS community. We urge any families who have younger siblings that wish to enrol for 2022 to enrol as soon as possible. This helps to secure enrolments not only for our current families but for those who wish  to enrol their child at our school. We have already received quite a number of enrolments and all forms are due by the end of April.
