Welcome to Week 8! Success in learning is not always easy but it was clearly evident during our learning conferences, that, at St Joseph’s we value that we are learners who want to learn, have success and respect the rights of others to learn. We can all assist our learning by the way we communicate, co-operate and care for each other. This allows us to develop positive relationships and enhance our own well-being and the well-being of others. At St Joseph’s we strive to develop a good work ethic and always try to do our best. Therefore, it is important that our students arrive at school on time at 8.45am to commence their learning, as school attendance plays a critical role in enhancing the lives of students in schools. Everyday of attendance provides valuable learning time for students and adds to their overall achievement and success at school. So let's continue to show up, take up the challenge and never give up to have growth and success with our learning goals.

Our Stage 1 teachers and students are continuing their enthusiastic approach to our MaST Project in regards to Mathematics. It was great to share our ideas and successes with each other and Trish Mitchell from the CSO at last week’s staff meeting. This Tuesday afternoon, as a staff we will continue our Professional Learning with Trish and continue to share the exciting learning opportunities happening at St Joseph’s.

We are so lucky to have such dedicated teachers at St Joseph’s. Please see the information below to assist your child at home.

This week our Stage 1 students are working on rounding and estimating.
