Art Club - Face Painting

At this year’s swimming carnival, one of Nossal’s newest clubs, the art club, hosted a face painting stall. Members of the club created their own designs, as well as doing custom designs on the day for a gold coin donation. The proceeds from the day went to the Australian Conservation Foundation. Led by Club Leaders Minuki Satharasinghe and Asif Kabir, the stall was popular among contestants and spectators alike, as well as teachers. 

Members of the club who volunteered to paint at the stall gave up their own time after school and during study periods to meet up, brainstorm designs, and practice on each other in preparation for the event.  

This stall was a first at Nossal, and the club is looking forward to hosting more of its kind in the future. So keep an eye out for the art club at future house competitions and school events.
