Zooming With The Richmond Football Club

On the 5th of March, a group of avid football fans along with other budding sports stars waited eagerly in the Lecture Theatre to hear from some of the country’s top footballers. We were lucky enough to have Jack Ross, Ryan Garthwaite and Ben Miller from the Richmond Football Club on a Zoom call along with other Bendigo schools such as SEDA, Holy Rosary and Eaglehawk Secondary.

 Although we didn’t get to speak to Dusty Martin like some were anticipating, we still enjoyed being educated on nutrition, motivation and recovery from injury as well as life outside of football. It was a great experience for all involved and hopefully has inspired some to pursue a future career in football. We would like to thank the Richmond Football Club for the opportunity to speak to some of their players as well as Mr Whitsed for organising the day.
