Valentine's Day

Dear Readers,

Valentine's Day 2022 was a massive success thanks to the hard efforts and work of the student body and teachers. This year, the Valentine’s day stalls sold a handful of goods, cringe-cards, lollipops, sing-a-grams and roses during roll call, recess, and lunch. The Day turned out to be a great success, as our stall continued to sell, and our school continued to buzz to the sound of love.

A large portion of our gratitude for this success goes to our senior leadership team. Cohorting issues posed several obstacles for us to overcome, yet we were coherent enough to navigate through them all and make the day as fun as possible for everyone, students and staff alike.  A special and massive thanks as well to Mr King, as he oversaw the operation in preparation for the day, along with doing everything he could to help out behind the scenes.   We raised $2597-20!

We’d also love to show our appreciation to all the staff and students who contributed to the light-hearted and “loving” atmosphere on the day, as events like these are what manage to build our Cecil spirit and bring our school community together. With your help, we managed to sell over 500 lollipops and over 400 roses, which accumulated to an amazing success.

Thank you for all your help, and hope you had a very happy Valentine's Day!
