Year 7 2022 - Phone and Device Safety

On Wednesday, 23 February 2022 during a year group assembly, Year 7 students were presented with information around phone and device safety. 

Our policy at Cecil Hills High School is for phones to be off and out of sight. Students should also limit the amount of time they spend on phones/devices per day as there are a number of adverse effects of too much screen time. Some of the effects discussed were:

• Poor sleep patterns
• Reduced wellbeing 
• Anxiety and depression
• Attention and learning problems

Year 7 students were also given further information in their Connect sessions on Thursday 24 February 2022.

Year 7 Welcome Barbecue

We are looking forward to meeting parents/carers and families of our Year 7 students at the Meet and Greet Year 7 Welcome Barbecue next Tuesday afternoon. Details are:

Year 11 Student Representative Council

On Tuesday, 22 February 2022 we had the pleasure of formally welcoming in the 2022 SRC representatives for Year 11 at a year group assembly.  Congratulations to a fantastic bunch of students who will be magnificent representatives for their year group and other students at Cecil Hills High School.
