Staff Spotlight

My name is Jasmine Baonza and I have been lucky enough to teach English at Cecil Hills High School for over two years. 

My schooling

I went to John Edmondson High School and graduated 2014. 

What I like to do when I am not working

When I am not working I like to read (typical English teacher), play with my cats, rock climb, go camping, hike, go to the beach, dance and hang out with my family and friends. 

A fun fact about me that not many people know about!

Prior to teaching I worked at McDonald's for nearly 10 years (no I can't get you free food, sorry!)

Advice for students

Keep working on yourself!  

Learn from your mistakes, learn new things, be nice (to yourself and others), prioritise your health, travel as much as you can when you are older and reflect. 

Who I'd like to be for a day!

If given a chance - if I could be anyone for a day it would be Simone Biles, it would be SO cool to be able to do a triple double!
