Your school,

Your community

Working together

As we pass the halfway mark in Term 1, it has been refreshing to see the easing of restrictions and to be able to see the smiling faces of our students in classrooms! I would once again like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful staff, students and families, for the way in which the entire Cecil Hills High School community has worked together to ensure that our students have been able to continue learning despite the challenges faced. The resilience, determination and maturity shown by our students is remarkable and have demonstrated that we really dobelieve in success!

Strategic Improvement Plan

With some normality returning to our school operations, we will continue to work hard towards implementing the initiatives in our Strategic Improvement Plan. This plan will drive the future direction of the school to ensure that we maintain our focus on Student Growth and Attainment, Professional Practice and Expertise and Community Engagement and Wellbeing.

Upcoming Events

Now that we are able to mix cohorts and welcome visitors back into our school, we are excited to be able to plan some of our regular events that have not been possible for the last few years. It has already been fantastic to see our students once again representing our school and zone at sporting events. Our Mock Trial team are ready for their first battle, our Hospitality students are preparing to cater their first school event and we will be welcoming our Year 7 parents next week for our annual Year 7 2022 Meet and Greet Welcome Barbecue  (more information below).   We hope that you can join us at future events and continue our partnership in your child’s learning at Cecil.
