Mission and Identity

I wish to pass on the gratitude and thanks that we as a community received from the various organisations we supported in our 2021 Christmas Appeal. The following organisations send through their heart-felt thanks:
- St Vincent de Paul Woy Woy
- St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Bowraville
- Terrey Hills Parish
- Catholic Care
- The Burdekin Association
- Centacare
- St Michael’s Meals
Each organisation was amazed at the generosity of our community and that we were willing to assist those on the margins. We look forward to continuing the relationships we have with those who support the most disadvantaged and are thankful that these opportunities exist so that we may live by the ideals of our Patron, Blessed Edmund Rice.
The attached photos are from the Centacare Christmas party. Centacare is run by Catholic Care and is an organisation that provides meaningful employment to adults who have a severe intellectual disability. The Year 10 students of 2021 ensured that each employee received a personalised Christmas present. We look forward to working alongside the employees with our Solidarity program in the Term 1 and 2 school holidays.
